Having spent half of my carrier in business (as an industrial salesman, retail executive and entrepreneur) and half in higher education (as a professor and an administrator) I can help you develop and implement new product ideas for a new venture or for an on-going enterprise. Whether new or on-going the process for developing a new product is always non-routine and complex. Furthermore, the first several steps in this process, which ends with a written business plan, are the most important and the most ambiguous. I can help you think through these early steps and frame two critical foundations for every business plan: a clear understanding of the purpose of and the market for your Product; a focus on one or more of the four strategic controllable variables that you envisions how your new product will be successful in the market you will target.
