As a former editor/writer in book, magazine and online publishing, I can help you craft an effective marketing message and narrative about your company. 

I began my publishing career at Doubleday Books and then moved into the magazine world where I held senior positions at More, Reader’s Digest, and New Woman in New York, and at Fair Lady in Cape Town. I ran my own literary agency between 1999 and 2007. As an agent, I helped launch the careers of more than a dozen first-time authors. My clients included now-bestselling author Brené Brown (I Thought it was Just Me), Mark K. Anderson (Shakespeare By Another Name: A Biography of Edward DeVere), cookbook author Norene Gilletz (The Food Processor Bible), and psychologist Mark Sichel (Healing From Family Rifts)

I've also been a book doctor, ghost blogger, TEDTalk adviser, and web content creator. My writing background includes health, psychology and business-related articles. I have authored several profiles for Bloom magazine, including the cover story “The New Generation of Fine Dining Chefs.” I am an adjunct instructor at Indiana University's Media School, where I teach a course on magazine editing.
