 For the last 34 years of my career, 24 were first spent with General Electric and the last 10 with Regal Beloit who purchased most of the electric motor business from GE.  During my early years with GE, I was responsible for marketing statistics as well as general sales forecasting.  I eventually went into Distribution marketing and managed a major customer for several years developing joint marketing programs to increase sales.  I then transitioned to finish goods inventory management an had a team of stock motor schedulers reporting to me as we had the responsibility of managing inventory levels to improve turns every year.  Also during this time, I was given thee additional responsibility of having the Warehouse management team report to me as well as the Logistics team.  As GE Motors began the transition to source motors offshore, I became the Source production manager.
