Thirty five year career in information technology and operations management, including CIO responsibilities. The company I was with longest was a high performing, successful financial services company. Their Board firmly believed in constant training, organizational development and reinvention, and required employees to spend 5% of their time in these activities. As a result, I have significant training and experience in OD, including a certificate in quality management from UW. I have also worked with small startup technology companies, as well as one five year stint in the public sector. For the past five years I have been consulting with small companies mostly on formal operations planning, including financial planning (and serve as Treasurer for three). In addition, I have volunteered as a resource organizations providing management consulting to non-profits in the areas of organizational development and information technology analysis. I have served on the board of non-profits, and have been a counselor for SCORE for the past six years.
