I am an international agricultural trade and supply chain expert. During a professional and business career spanning over 35 years, I was the business head for two major food multinational companies. My direct international experience covered Asia, Middle East and Africa markets and a range of agricultural commodities and processed foods.

We established an export businesses in Oakland, CA in 2015 to exploit the trade opportunities among the pacific rim markets and a marketplace e-commerce B2B platform to leverage the expertise and network within our group companies, partners and clients.   

Starting in 2005, I built a group of companies operating in agricultural commodity trade and in financial intermediation. 

Prior to my entrepreneurial phase, I worked with PepsiCo Foods International as Managing Director for the Gulf Countries. I was responsible for the design and execution of the entry strategy for the successful Frito Lay snack food business in the region.

Prior to PepsiCo, I worked for 14 years with Unilever India across supply chain functions are in product groups of Tea, Coffee, Meat & Leather and Edible Oil & Fat. As Commercial Manager I played a key role in the launch of Walls Ice Cream Business in India through a greenfield plant and a series of acquisitions.

After graduating from business school, I worked for two years with a non-profit institution focused on small and non-formal sectors of the Indian Economy.
