Senior LSA consultant tasked with marketing for business development @ LSA, to acquire new customers and sell additional transportation services to new, and existing customers of LSA. Tasked with market outreach including business-to-business, business-to-customer, and even non-profit organizations. I identify new sales leads pitching transportation products and or services. Maintain fruitful relationships with existing customers generate new leads, day-to-day duties include: Researching organizations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets. Research the needs of other transportation companies and learning who makes decisions about purchasing. Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings. Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives. Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events. Prepare PowerPoint presentations and sales displays. Contact clients to inform them about new developments in LSA's services and products. Develop quotes and proposals, negotiate and renegotiate, by phone, email, and in person. Develop sales goals for the team and ensure they are met. Train personnel and help team members develop their skills.

1999-2012-  US Trans Print Solutions 
Peter brings more than 35 years of transportation and logistics experience as an entrepreneurial logistics consultant. Peter has held several executive positions he is a major player in the DHL ground package logistics market in the Baltimore, Washington corridor. Peter is responsible for obtaining and negotiating contracts in both the government, and private sector for transportation logistics, public relations, digital print media, and warehouse fulfillment. Peter develops proposals for submission to federal, state and local governments, as well as private enterprises. Peter organized the first DHL It Digital Print Store. Just as FEDEX has KinKo's, and UPS has MailBox Etc. DHL started the “DHL IT Store”.  
 
2008-2012: American Fleet Sales & Service, Inc.  Vice President Peter brings more than 30 years of financial, transportation and logistics experience. Peter has held several executive positions he is a major player in the contract passenger transportation services market in Washington DC. Peter graduated from the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas, and received his Master’s degree from Central Michigan, Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. Peter is responsible for obtaining and negotiating contracts in both the public and private sector for leasing and sales solutions. Peter develops proposals for submission to federal, state and local governments, as well as public utility services and private enterprises. Peter has a strong knowledge of 30 years in government F.A.R, SDBE and private procurement procedures. Peter organizes start-up GSA motor-pool operations and provides on-site supervision for all leasing and maintenance.
 
2003- 2008: Capitol Coachworks Inc. Vice President the Company has sold over 1000 professional vehicles to people and companies in over a dozen countries around the world, developing a strong reputation in the industry. We have developed systems for acquiring GSA contracts, which includes researching Federal procurement forecasts, preparing proposals, winning contracts with various governments and private officials. Upon award of over 10 million in contracts in 2006. We moved to our 20,000 square foot showroom facility which features 12 full service bays with body shop. We have full in-house service capabilities and can provide our customers with any and all warranty repair and maintenance services required. With our
portable 40 ton train lifts, we have the ability to lift any size limousine, hearse, minibus or motor coach.
1999- 2008:  U.S. Trans Logistics, Inc.  Director of Business Development for 5 a million dollar a year government defense logistics contractor with 100 employees in three states Responsible for obtaining and negotiating contracts in both the public and private sector for motorpool services, refuse, recycling, earth site work, demolition, construction, air, land, and sea logistics.
 
1974-1999:  Diplomat Limousine and Livery Service, Inc. President & CEO for 10 million dollar a year government contractor with 200 employees in five states specializing in Hospital ground transportation, NIH motorpool facilities, and
Bio-waste management. Worked with government officials and representatives from private companies developing unique business systems in the above areas. Managed company’s SBA 8a operations for ten years and upon graduation from that program, developed business plan that increased company sales three-fold. Monitored company’s adherence to regulations imposed by federal and local governments, including obtaining proper tariffs and certifications for both ground transportation and bio-waste management services. Implemented start-up of casinos shuttles in Atlantic City NJ, Tunica, MS. And Dover DE. For five major casino patrons and employees. Mr. McGhee managed employee shuttle services for ten years with FEDEX in Memphis Tenn. Mr. McGhee managed FAA contracts for the Washington Flyer Ground transportation system at Dulles IAD and National DCA from 87-97 for the FAA and employees, and a separate contract at IAD for United Airlines customer service reps, pilots, mechanics, and stewardesses seven days a week 24 hours a day, for five years 1991-1996.
 
1982 to 1989: All Weather Contractors, Inc. Vice President Managed construction and waste management and sludge hauling and land sludge injection operations for company, which consisted of a consortium of independent contractors.
Acquired permits and prepared RFP’s in solid waste sludge hauling and compost recycling. I conferred with necessary officials to ascertain specific agency permits.
 
1980-1987:  Maryland County Housing Opportunities Commission, Director of Project Image.
Directed United Way Fund, Project Image for the United Black Fund of Washington DC. A million dollar mentoring project for youths and adolescents within Montgomery County’s public housing program. Marketed mentoring program to executives in various companies located in Montgomery County, (I.E.) IBM, XEROX, EDS, and MARS who subsequently volunteered as mentors with specific children. Established 501 c 3 funding program, with the United Way Campaign combined federal payroll deduction program, administered guidelines and procedures for collecting payroll deductions and in kind contributions.
 
1980-1984:Consultant and Loaned Executive, UNITED WAY CAMPAIGN FOR PRINCE GEORGES’ COUNTY. Contacted and solicited businesses in Prince George County, Maryland for participation in the United Way Campaign. Met directly with executives and their staffs regarding the purpose and benefits of the United Way Campaign. Raised monies by combined federal campaigns and payroll deduction requests.
 
1976-1980:  University of Kansas Medical Center, Clinical Socialworker LBSW @ C&Y Social Work Outreach program designed to deliver medical health prevention, and social services to Children and Youth for 1,200 North-end Wyandotte county citizens in the HUD Juniper Gardens public housing sector AKA section 8.  Managed a five million dollar budget for social service outreach department; supervised and trained (STEP) Systematic Training for Effective Parenting for pregnant teens (AKA) at Mother’s High School in Kansas City, Kansas School District 500.
