Pat Ripple, a certified public accountant (OH inactive), earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting at Mount Union College and a master’s in taxation at the University of Akron. During her business career that began in 1978, Pat worked for four leading companies – Ernst & Whinney, Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, American Greetings Corporation and Esmet Inc. At American Greetings she rose to senior vice president, gaining significant experience in the greeting card industry.  At Esmet she served as chief financial officer. Pat joined SCORE in 2002 and served as chair of the Canton Chapter in 2006. Beginning in 2015 she assumed the role of district director of SCORE’s Northern Ohio District. In addition, Pat was an adjunct professor in Walsh University's MBA program. An avid sailor, she is a member of the Sailing Buckeye Yacht Club, is a racing sailor and with husband Jim spends five months each year on their sailboat in the southern Caribbean.  As a SCORE mentor she enjoys helping clients with cash flow, accounting systems and other financial issues.
