>Pamela Joy Ring is president of Ring Retail Advisory, LLC (www.ringretailadvisory.com), a retail consultancy to retailers, consumer goods/services businesses, resorts/casinos, and real estate developers. Ring is one of few women in Nevada who co-founded a national, publicly-traded corporation, Gallery of History (GOH), Inc., serving as EVP and Acting COO for 22 years. She merchandised a niche collectible, limited to 300 collectors, marketed it to be a demand-based product for the masses, creating an industry and generating $49mm cumulative sales of 32,000 items. She was a national pioneer in using multi-channel sales distribution networks beyond brick and mortar. Ring’s management style – “grow beyond your perceived capabilities” – resulted in per employee loyalty at GOH averaging 10 plus years and repeat business from her current clients. Ring is also Chief Marketing Officer Emeritus and Shareholder in the 14-year-old Las Vegas-based software development company, BannerView.com. She was the first woman president of the Nevada chapter of the international Turnaround Management Association, receiving several awards for her service and prowess in retail turnarounds. She’s a nationally published author and speaker including presentations for the 2008/09 G2E and authoring Global Gaming Business’ magazine, RD E’s cover story, “Building Blocks.” Ring is the 2011 recipient of the Women of Distinction Award for Retail and Business Services presented by NAWBO (National Association of Women Business Owners). She holds an MBA in Finance from New York University and a BS in Economics with a major in Marketing from,The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
