I am a technologist and business person with 20 years of experience in information technology and manufacturing. I spent the first 15 years of my career in hands-on IT roles and in senior IT leadership positions at The Reader’s Digest Association, Inc. and Time, Inc. The most recent 5 years of my career have been spent as VP, Technology at manufacturer Cober, Inc.. I serve on the board of two not-for-profit organizations which provide funds and services for the visually impaired. I previously taught some classes in Computer Science as an adjunct professor at the University of Connecticut and I still love teaching and mentoring today. My education is in Physics and Computer Science. My IT background is in technology+business strategy, IT governance, infrastructure management (Internet, devices, networks), information security, program management, ecommerce + website operations management and programming/application development. My business background includes general management, operations management, budget management (incl capex) and corporate culture creation. I like to counsel SCORE clients on challenges that lay at the intersection of information technology and business.
