As a Senior Finance Manager at Proctor & Gamble I (1) Lead Purchasing teams to deliver annual savings commitments; includes ideation, analysis, and execution of savings across suppliers, regions, and forms, (2) Partner with Purchasing Leaders to ensure the right governance in place with suppliers, including reviewing supplier solvency, governance and approvals over supplier transactions, (3) Review specific spend pools to identify value creation opportunities. It can be cost reductions, long term value plays, or improved supply chain time, and (4) Partner with Purchasing Leaders to maximize supplier contracts for P&L and cashflow. Completes analysis to help prepare for negotiations and is proactive with monitoring changes and P&L implications of contractual clauses.
Prior to joining Proctor & Gamble, I was an Operations Leader at a manufacturing company where I led various optimization projects from engineering to accounting, resulting in an improved bottom line. I also spent 3-4 years in the Oil and Gas industry, as a Lead Engineer and Operations Leader. I worked with key stakeholders to improve operations, reduce cost, and generate more cash.
I have an MBA in Finance, Strategy, and Operations Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor Degee in Petroleum Engineering from the University fo North Dakota
