Larry Kramer earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering from the University of Dayton and the University of Illinois, respectively. Larry then served our country for three years in the Army, with his final assignment as a company commander in the Corps of Engineers in Vietnam. He began his business career with H.K. Ferguson, a national engineering and construction firm. He then moved to the Hoover Company where he built a 34-year career. Larry advanced from staff engineer to manager of plant engineering to director of production services and completed his careers, serving the last five years as vice president of manufacturing when he was responsible for five manufacturing plants and implemented lean manufacturing and six sigma tools. During his career, Larry participated in several corporate executive leadership seminars and undertook a range of community involvements. He has served on the boards of trustees for the YMCA of Central Stark County, Louisville YMCA and Jackson-Belden Chamber of Commerce. He also served his church as a member of the finance committee. Larry joined SCORE in 2008.
