How I can help you

As a "serial entrepreneur" I can help start-up, new, and existing businesses in the areas of general operations, IT consulting and outsourced services, training, and project management.  My wife and I also started a 501C3 charity called TechIs Good, which we ran successfully for 7 years and helped over 70 college-bound financially at-risk kids.  I also have experience starting, running, operating a New York-style chicken wing deli/restaurant during the mid-80's to mid-90's.  In college, I also worked in a regional bank for 3 yes, I've done a lot of different things and can draw on many varied experiences.  I love talking business, sharing knowledge and experiences, attacking issues with creativity and realism, and solving challenges together with the goal of helping you realize your dream of business ownership.

I grew up on the east coast and attended elementary, middle school, and 2 years of high school in a Miami, Florida suburb.  My family moved to upstate New York in 1981, and I finished my last 2 years of high school there in a suburb of Rochester, NY called Penfield.  We then moved to Reno in 1984, and I attended the University of Nevada, Reno for a year and dropped out to start Wings 'N' Things - while I still knew everything ;-).  I went back to the University in 1990, and finished with a BA in Education (English Major, Computer Minor) in 1997.  Turns out I was wrong...I didn't know everything!

I am a Microsoft Certified Trainer and Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP).  In 2013, I studied for and tested to get my Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, which I intend to maintain forever because it's so difficult to get.  PMP rigor also helps greatly when tackling any endeavor  that has a defined start, middle, and starting a business until you achieve ongoing operations.
