I retired from an academic medical center, where I was the chief administrative officer of a research division with a $22 million budget. My responsibilities included the full range of administrative functions: planning, budgeting, financial reconciliation, human resources, IT, facilities and operations, and grant and contract administration. I had been in similar positions for approximately 20 years. I currently own my own personal financial planning business. I also volunteer with various organizations in the areas of grant preparation, budgeting, financial analysis and tax return preparation.  My experience and my specialty is in helping not-for-profit organizations.
