I want to help the entrepreneurs to reach their objectives more quickly. The best way for me to help is to offer advice, alternatives, and to help to obtain resources. I will not meet that objective by telling an entrepreneur what to do. II feel that my varied background qualifies me to help me work with entrepreneurs. I have experience at the both corporate level as well as at the small business level. I have spent over thirty years assessing and managing businesses across a wide spectrum of industries such as: medical technology, banking, medical supplies, medical instruments, automotive aftermarket, hair salons, casual dining, fast food, grocery products, electrical supplies, pharmacies, etc. I have also started and owned my own business for over twenty years. My company was a bit like a small investment bank. Transactions completed were more than one-half billion dollars. Functionally, I have experience in market research, marketing, sales, product development, accounting, new project assessment, financial forecasting, budgeting, and operations. My functional capabilities were initially shaped at Fortune 100 corporations, and then refined in my own small business. I have developed several tools which I have found helpful. One is a method to quickly test a businesss suitability. I also approach to planning that fits the small business environment because its objective is to open the business as soon as possible.
