I am a 43-year retired former IBM employee, having spent 32 years of my career in management. I provided consultation to IBM VP executive levels. I have experience in Sales, Customer Fulfillment, Business Controls, Business Operations, Finance, Process Management, IBM Business Systems Information Technology, Human Resources, Sales Enablement, Sales Transformation, internal consulting, project management and Sales Operations. I’ve led and/or participated in many major IBM transformational work efforts, e.g., the restructure of IBM Sales in 1981 from three sales organizations to two; the establishment of the Revenue based sales plan; Global Internal Business Systems consolidation; Customer Value Management CVM); Customer Relationship Management (CRM); Signature Sales Method (SSM); Solutions Sales Initiative (SSI); 2004/2005 Productivity Initiative and Client Value Initiative (CVI). In 2010 to 2016, I was a Consultant to IBM on a Chinese Client for Business Transformation, Finance Operations and Change Management (People, Work Culture). Locally, I am on the Board of the Union County Entrepreneurs (UCE). I have also served on the Main Street Board in Waxhaw, NC, where I live.
In addition to being a Certified Mentor with the SCORE Charlotte Chapter, I’ve served the Charlotte Chapter as Client Services VP, Executive VP and chapter President. I am currently SCORE’s North Carolina Assistant District Director.
