As someone with many years of experience in the hospitality industry, I can help small lodging and restaurant businesses grow their marketing, streamline their operations, enhance their customer service and boost revenue.
While my background is primarily with the hospitality industry, I have worked with a variety of other businesses in the last 15+ years including sailing charters, artists, photographers, non-profits and many more. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY, I spent 20 years as a professional chef, the last 8 as an Executive Chef at fine dining restaurants also running the front of the house for many of them.
In 2003 I started my own business working with bed & breakfasts, restaurants and other small businesses doing website design, graphic design, social media, computer and social media instruction, and hospitality consulting. I also work part-time (ie I got roped into it :) as the Marketing Director for a non-profit national bed and breakfast association. I am very involved with Toastmasters International and am a DTM (Distinguished Toastmaster). I love helping small business grow and succeed. In 2003 SCORE helped me start my business and now it is time for me to give back.
