As a provider of professional services to federal agencies, I developed and applied effective operations, planning, business development, and administrative techniques to help firms succeed in the federal contracting space. I began my career working for a large, established federal contractor, where I developed a deep understanding of the industry and learned the fundamentals of the industry. I later applied this knowledge and skill set to start up a successful firm with three partners, which we operated for about twenty years. We developed the processes and procedures necessary for winning contracting opportunities, staffing them to ensure success, developing our staff, and establishing sound administrative processes and procedures to ensure the company met industry requirements.
