My name is Gerry Guidice. I have recently retired from working in the financial industry as a Real Estate/Facilities leader.
My most recent role was with Munich Re America. I was the Head of U.S. Real Estate and Facilities. This is a multi-billion-dollar Global re-insurance business.
Prior to Munich Re, I was the Global Head of Real Estate, Design and Facilities for TD Bank. TD is the 10 largest banks in North America.
Prior to TD Bank, I worked for Yum Brands, PepsiCo inclusive of 3 years in the supply chain side of these two-food business. Yum Brands is the largest food business in North America.
I have been in the Real Estate, Design, Facilities and Construction business for over 25 years.
During these times, I have also been an entrepreneur. I have owned rental income buildings in New Jersey, working with both local and state agencies providing housing.
I have opened multiple small businesses a Bagel location that I ran for 5 years with a partner.
I was in my own Bar and Restaurant business with a partner and balanced a career and business responsibilities for over 6 years.
I have both a corporate and small business view of the business world.
My education was from Ramapo College of NJ (Psychology and Urban Planning)
I also received my master’s in real estate certification from Core Net Global as well as my Senior Leadership certification from Core Net Global.
I have also built a lifetime of volunteerism by:
Working with the Red Cross with their facilities and real estate strategy.
Working with the ASPCA in the dog rescue and care effort.
I have volunteered on a number of not-for-profit boards, and local community boards.
My passions are Music (piano), Environment and History.
