How I can help you

As a Human Resources professional for over 20 years, I can help you with personnel issues. 

I have assisted businesses in developing fair company policies, team building, creating job descriptions, benchmarking salaries, recruiting tips, organizational structure and handling difficult employees.  Earlier in my career, I was the Executive Director of a non-profit organization for ten years and I have been involved on the Boards of several non-profits, so I can also assist with issues facing a non-profit organization.  Another area of experience is in running a large Customer Service call center.

Volunteering has always been an important part of my life.  I ran a Girl Scout troop when I was in college, then became a Peace Corps volunteer in Colombia (and learned to speak Spanish).   When I returned, I worked in the public schools in New York City as a guidance counselor.  My interest in small business developed early in my career when I ran a small economic development organization in Woodside Queens and later served as the Housing Chair on the Community Board.  

I love helping business owners make their companies employee-friendly and productive by focussing on teamwork and quarterly goal development and assessment.

I graduated from Tufts University with a BA in Psychology and one in Education.  My Master's degree in Guidance is from the Bank Street College of Education and my PhD in Educational Psychology is from the City University of New York.
