I can help entrepreneurs and businesses in converting ideas to products to profitable businesses by advising them on issues relative to protection of their ideas, prototyping, manufacturing, marketing, and in financing via investors or government contracting.
I worked at the US Army research Laboratory (ARL) in Maryland for sixteen years managing
research projects, and formulating multi-million dollar research programs in emerging technologies and systems. As program manager or senior engineer at Martin Marietta Data Systems,Greenbelt, MD, Mechnaical Technology Inc., Latham, NY, and at other small businesses, I developed a number of advanced concepts, wrote proposals for funding, and managed thermal systems and engineering projects.
As professor at universities in India and Australia and as visiting and adjunct professor at the Naval Postgraduate School, Drexel University, and The University of Maryland University College, I taught engineering and management subjects, managed contract research programs, and received patents and awards.
After retirement from ARL, I ran a technology and management consulting business. Currently, I focus on concept generation, inventions, and innovations in engineering, technology, and economic and social development.
Having been selected as delegate-at-large in 2005, I served on the White House Conference on Aging and contributed to the development of implementation strategies.
As a volunteer counselor with SCORE since 2004, I counseled over two thousand entrepreneurs as they started and grew their businesses. My clients came from a variety of businesses and I counseled them in developing their business plans, financial plans, management strategies, and in taking inventions to product based businesses.
