I help "reluctant salespeople" become effective business developers.  As an entrepreneur and consultant since 1998, I have worked most with professional services firms including architects, construction firms, CPAs, engineers and commercial and residential real estate managers/asset managers.  My specialties are working with clients to figure out how to best connect with potential clients, to develop a customized sales process and to develop a training program to expand the "sales force" beyond the original entrepreneur.  My sales training expertise includes initial connecting and prospecting, consultative sales conversations, servicing to encourage repeat business and effective customer service.  Beyond sales expertise, my primary skills are strategic planning, presentation skills, communication skills, the SDI tool (Strength Deployment Inventory), instructional design and train the trainer. I am currently on the boards of a chamber music organization and a community chorus/theatre organization.  I am also working to improve the canvassing skills of political activists and to provide presentation skills training for local candidates.
