For 25 years I ran a small-business consulting practice that included non-profit organizations based in Illinois. Many were multiple-year relationships, during which I was able to help clients address the wide variety of problems, surprises and setbacks that arise over time. Topics included board recruitment and management, participant progress tracking, funder reporting and funder relationship building. Clients have included veterans support, medical education, state welfare agencies, social services research programs, graduate education institutes and a variety of non-profit startups. I currently accept only non-profit clients.
