I worked in the electronics industry for forty years and I retired as the VP of Worldwide Sales and Marketing for a Fortune 500 corporation. Prior to that assignment, I was the general manager of two manufacturing plants in mainland China. My career included numerous business turn-around assignments; i.e., fixing sub-par operations by identifying their problems and then making them profitable. I was also successfully involved in numerous acquisition and mergers of companies. My executive training included studies at Harvard, Northwestern, Wisconsin and Texas A&M universities. I have been a volunteer counselor with Austin SCORE for ten year. My areas of expertise are sales, marketing, business management, turn around businesses from loss to profits, strategic planning and customer satisfaction. I also teach an entrepreneur class at University of Texas.
