Bill always had a passion for the world of electronics. He worked for Sylvania Electronic Systems, and then joined a start-up company called ESL headed by Bill Perry, who would later become Defense Secretary. This company was later acquired by TRW. Bill moved from technical assignments to managing major development programs, managing engineering organizations, and running business units. As Vice President, and Division Manager he had full profit and loss responsibility.. Bill has always been interested in planning. At SCORE he helped launch the popular Business Plan seminar.
