Alvaro is a retired Procter & Gamble (P&G) IT Manager - Procter & Gamble North America: Led the integration of Gillette IT personnel into P&G during the acquisition. This included three locations: Gillette in Boston, Duracel in Conneticut and Brawn in Germany. - P&G - HP interface. P&G outsourced IT Infrastructure services to Hewllett Packard (3,500 people) thus I was repsonsible for ensuring customer service levels to P&G were as per our service contracts. This included all plants, offfices and customer service centers in the US and Canada. - Global Data Service Manager: Responsible for the organization providing global support for databases to system developers and applications. Provided 7x24 service since P&G plants are highly automated and can not be down for more than 3 hours. It was a follow-the-sun organization with personnel in Europe, Asia, LA and the US - Beauty Care Marketing Analysis; Responsible for the organization doing analisys of the brands, markets, brand launches and brand performance. Supported teh Beauty Care brands to increase market share and profitabity. - IT and Customer Service Manager P&G Chile and Argentina. Led a multifunctional team to increase customer service satisfaction and company profitability. Reorganized the sales organization by contrating smaller customer to distrbutor and concentrating on large custmers. Sales organization decreased by 30 sales persons from 42 to 12. Also, closed three warehouse in other cities and created a large distribution center in Santiago. Customer service satisfaction went form 60% to 98%.
