I have experience in building two businesses. The first was a women's accessory manufacturing and nationally distribution business. I learned how to deal with the cash flow problems of a rapidly growing under capitalized business and how to market our products nationally. The business was successful for 14 years. However probably the most valuable lessons came in the 15th year when the business was turned over to the creditors. My operating mantra is "Every problem is an opportunity" and after going out of our accessory business I became a Certified Financial Planner to find out how I could make so much money but be left with so little. I built a successful financial planning practice and after 40 years sold my practice. The lessons I learned throughout my career could help other entrepenurs avoid the same mistakes I made and take advantage of the strategies that have worked.
