William Adler

Is your small business trying to grow and can't figure out the way? I can be of service. I own the local office of the Entrepreneur's Source, a business coaching firm with a focus on franchising. Before that, I built up years of experience in small businesses, holding key positions including CFO and COO. My specialty is helping companies grow and achieve maximum value. I am also a past chapter chair of SCORE Memphis.

Lynn Altepeter

Overwhelmed but passionate about starting a business? I can help! We can create a great plan that walks you through the necessary steps toward success. I worked for many years in the cable industry-leading people toward achievable goals. My mentor specialties include leadership, operations management, and human relations (hiring, training, and development) with an emphasis on customer service, policy, and procedures. My passion is living life to the fullest with my husband, family, and friends in the healthiest, most active way possible. I head the new-volunteer training program and was state Mentor of the Year for 2020.

Beverly Anderson

My education and experience can help SCORE clients in a lot of ways. I’ve worked as a freelance bookkeeper since 1996 and am the founder and president of the Home-based Business Chamber of Commerce. I am also the founder/director of the Entrepreneur Training Institute. I received a Masters's degree in Human Resources and am pursuing a doctorate in Management and Organizational Leadership. I primarily serve those in the first five years of business. I can help you with basic business bookkeeping and more. I serve as the chapter’s vice chair.

Tilar Bell

As an enthusiastic and resourceful finance and technology entrepreneur, I love sharing my blended experience in business planning and development, financial planning and insurance, and tech startups and digital cryptocurrency. I launched a tech startup business right out of college and have been self-employed since, getting great help from coaches and mentors. I always look to help others toward business ownership and financial freedom and achieving personalized goals. As a SCORE volunteer, I am honored to be able to guide small business owners in the right direction when starting their entrepreneurial journey.

Julie Brander

With more than 20 years in SCORE, I am a highly regarded business expert, speaker, and advocate for entrepreneurs. I have an MBA had have taught business on a college level. I started a manufacturing, retail and nonprofit business and got a real estate license specializing in commercial real estate and investment properties. I retired at the age of 41 and became a volunteer for SCORE as a business mentor, and workshop presenter, and have created networking groups both locally and nationally for SCORE as well as part of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiative.

Jiljuana J. Coleman

I am a subject matter expert with cross-functional industry experience in leadership strategy, project management, operational integration, process and procedure improvement, business continuity planning and response, and generalized business compliance. In addition to my business as the owner of a strategic consulting firm and my work for SCORE, I serve as a Disaster Team member for the Red Cross and I am a Certified Instructor and Reservist for FEMA’s Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) with the City of Memphis’ Office of Emergency Management. Michele D'Amico

I am a Subject Matter Expert in the area of Human Resources. During my HR career, I spent time working in the following areas: hiring and staffing; instructional design and training; performance management and improvement; team building; leadership skills; and HRIS. I worked in the retail bank, and tech sectors as well as in my consulting firm. Whatever stage your business is in, if you need guidance in Human Resources, I’m ready to assist.

Corinthia Davis

I started Davis Professional Accounting Services on the first day of the new millennium in New Orleans. And while the first tax season went well, it became apparent small business owners had so much to learn about accounting systems too. That’s true to this day, so even after Hurricane Katrina forced a move to Memphis, the business has grown. I can help you learn what you need to know about small-business accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, and taxes. Need some assistance in preparing financial statements? I can help you with that, too.

Jean Drew

I've done many things in my career, from banking to college instructor, from real estate to small business owner. I can help you build a business plan, a marketing plan, and much more. If you're about to start a non-profit, I can help you there too. I spent 16 years teaching small business management at Portland Community College's Small Business Development Center. During my time there I developed a management program for small business owners. My years in the banking industry with First Interstate Bank gave me great knowledge of what financial institutions want to see from customers looking for loans.

I became a SCORE mentor after a 40-year career in financial management with Scripps Howard Broadcasting Company. If you're an entrepreneur interested in forming a business, SCORE and I can help with a business concept analysis or developing a business plan. If you have an established business, we can assist with developing plans, strategies, and tactics to improve performance. I've also worked with several non-profits over the past three years. I serve on the board at Theatre Memphis.
