How long have you mentored for Manasota SCORE?
Jon - I joined SCORE and became a Mentor in Sept. 2005.
What is the most satisfying element of mentoring for SCORE?
Jon - Helping clients thru the journey to start and grow businesses and non-profit organizations. It is also fun to see the many ideas that clients bring to the table. It is a continuing learning environment.
What words of wisdom do you have for someone who is considering to become a SCORE mentor?
Jon - It is a rewarding experience working with so many interesting and engaging folks that you are able to meet as a SCORE Mentor both other Mentors and Clients. It certainly can be challenging but to know you had a part in client success is very fulfilling.
