After college and graduate school, Jory spent a brief time in the publishing industry before getting involved in financial services, specifically the securities industry. He retired from Merrill Lynch after a highly rewarding forty year career in 2012, and was recognized in Whos Who, the National Consumer Research Bureau, and Barron's as one of the top financial advisors in the country. His career at Merrill was highlighted by successfully managing several different branch offices as well as running one of the firms most profitable high net worth teams. He has kept extremely busy in retirement and have become deeply involved in many different pursuits, especially writing. Jory has written three books on business and contemporary affairs and have plans for more.
