Shody Chow has had 35 years of experience in supply chain management. He is able to assist you with questions you have about import/export, international trade, managing a business and business start-up. Prior to his retirement, he managed wholly owned and joint venture companies with offices in the US, UK, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Mainland China, Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, India and Bangladesh in the export, import, distribution and retail of general merchandise, healthcare products, industrial equipment, passenger cars and commercial vehicles. The companies acted as suppliers to or buying agents for Wal-Mart Stores, Ann Taylor, Brooks Brothers, DKNY, Laura Ashley, Dorothy Perkins, Top Shop and other retailers in USA, UK and other world markets, and distributors for Reebok footwear & apparel, Rockport shoes, Speedo swimwear, Ingersoll Rand pumps, compressors pneumatic tools, Volvo cars, trucks buses, Jeep vehicles, Hyundai cars, Novo Nordisk insulin products, SmithKline Beecham pharmaceuticals and other branded products. He has been a volunteer SCORE Mentor since 2004 and has provided free and confidential mentoring to over 500 clients. His areas of expertise are: International Trade, Export and Import, Wholesale and Retail, Managing a Business & Business start-up. Shody currently mentors by Zoom Video and will resume face to face meetings in the Pasadena area on Friday mornings once COVID-19 is no longer an issue.
