Jim's background in human resources includes 18 years as a practicing HR generalist at a major corporation. He can assist with nearly any kind of issue in the human resources area including policies and practices, hiring, termination, employee legal and regulatory issues, pay and benefits, performance management and appraisals, and employee manuals. He also has participated as both a volunteer and board member in a number of local nonprofit organizations, including Meals on Wheels. Using the first hand experience gained here, he has mentored other nonprofit organizations. In addition to human resources issues, he has developed expertise in board structure and policy, and organization operation.
