Career: Served as Senior Executive at a Public Research University with, at time of retirement, approximately a $400 million operating budget, 3 million square feet of buildings, including classrooms, laboratories, specialized research facilities, offices and 2,200-bed residential facilities. Portfolio included all areas of financial operations,facilities design,construction, and financing, contract management - government and business operations, Technology-based Business Incubator. Served as treasurer of the boards of the university and its separate foundation, which had responsibility for resource development and endowment management. Also, serve as treasurer of home condominium assocation. Use Peachtree (now Sage 50) and am proficient with Quicken as well as MS Office and familiar with Quick Books. Served three years in US Army as Nuclear Weapons Maintenance Specialist, 1966-1969 rising to rank of Special 5th Class (SP5).
