Susan Vanderburgh is an entrepreneur, international speaker and author who assists clients to create a lifestyle of abundance and finding a healthy balance between their financial and business goals.
Susan has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and a Master of Science degree in Public Administration and currently pursuing a juris doctorate. Since 1995, Susan has worked alongside many top-ranking and highly skilled litigation lawyers with diverse experience and aptitude in trials and alternative dispute resolution.
Susan's family worked with fashion designers in San Francisco. Susan also has her own clothing label and has dabbled in the fashion world as a promotional model and coordinating fashion shows and other fashion and red-carpet events.
Having published works in the legal, real estate, financial and entertainment industries, Susan shares her entrepreneurial spirit by mentoring business owners and budding entrepreneurs through SCORE, California State University, Fullerton, and conducting workshops on various business, finance and real estate topics.
Susan became acquainted with nonprofit work while working at the Nature Conservancy and volunteering at Laguna Honda Hospital, various schools, PBS, and KQED. Susan enhanced her business knowledge by working with litigation lawyers where she learned how to minimize and avoid liability.
As a supporter of nonprofit organizations, Susan serves on the Board of Directors for various nonprofit organizations including 1) American Society of Community Benefits, and 2) Heart to Heart Foundation and is the Community Leader for Giving Tuesday. Susan also freely contributes her time to other philanthropic groups. Susan’s business knowledge encompasses for-profit and nonprofit businesses, bringing both traditional and nontraditional strategic implementation. Clients often seek Susan’s assistance in business formation (profit and nonprofit entity), compliance and fundraising.
Susan is also a kidney donation advocate and a public speaker with platforms in business, financial wellness, mental health, real estate, and organ donation. Susan has also won awards for her knowledge and achievements.
When not working or volunteering, Susan enjoys free time with her family (husband, five children, four dogs and a chinchilla) or visits to the beach, the lake or spend quiet time by writing.
