As the Chief Executive Officer of Valor Strategic Solutions, a Veteran-owned, small business consulting firm, I leverage my entrepreneurial skills, military experience, and passion for social change to empower small businesses to overcome challenges and achieve sustainable success. With over three years of experience as a professional photographer, I have a unique perspective on how to craft compelling stories, and engage audiences.

I've created 5 profitable businesses in multiple sectors and have made my share of mistakes along the way. I spent 6 years working as a venture capitalist at Adams Street Partners where I was focused on funding early-stage startups. After that I spent 4 years starting, operating, and selling my own business (stayoffmap.com). I'm excited to help anyone with questions about business plans, fundraising, product development, digital marketing, or any other areas of the startup process!

You'll find me a compassionate listener of your dreams. I am able to work with early ideation and planning of businesses, identifying areas for go-to-market and growth, creating impactful customer experiences, and improving customer communication operations. I have over 30 years working with B2B, small businesses, ecommerce, and software/technology startups. In addition, I'm actively working and am up-to-date on martech, AI, and communication strategies. I'm also a huge proponent of using community building as a way to grow businesses.
