Business Grows After Contacting SCORE “Mentors to America’s Small Business”
(Indianapolis, IN)— Courtney Wiley, owner of Violets Are Blue Floral Design has turned an idea she had seven years ago with guidance from SCORE Indianapolis into a thriving locally-owned store that has received local recognition.

Glenn, a retired Pike Township Indiana firefighter came to SCORE after he had purchased a 4 bedroom modern cabin in Brown County, Indiana. The cabin is on 13 acres and has an additional separate two-story building.
Glenn planned to convert it to a bed and breakfast and rent each room separately. After gaining a better understanding of the layout of the cabin and the 13 acres surrounding it I suggested that he simplify things by offering the entire facility to families or small groups of friends and thus dealing with one account at a time.
