I am currently working as a Senior Business Development Officer in a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) serving communities throughout the Texas, State. I serve as Treasurer of the Executive Board of the United4Change organization, which focuses its mission on fighting poverty globally.

I am a specialist in public policy and economic development with 19 years of experience as a consultant leading economic development, regional integration, finance, and entrepreneurship projects in multilateral organizations such as the CAF-Development Bank of Latin America and the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB). I have been a consultant and evaluator in the field of business plans, social enterprises, and micro-entrepreneurs at the Houston Community College, the Sure program of the University of Houston Business School, the “Liftoff Houston” program of the City of Houston, Baker Ripley, Citibank, and the Central Bank of Venezuela. I have extensive experience in the Central Bank of Venezuela where I served as Advisor to the Executive Board and Manager of International Relations. I was president of the Audit Council of the Latin American Monetary Center and Governor of the OPEC Fund for International Development (OPEC). I also held managerial positions at the Instituto de Estudios Superiores de Administracion (IESA) a management school in Caracas, Venezuela.
