Janice Smith, Director of Fit Learning St. Louis, has turned a career-long passion for behavior science/education and expert guidance from SCORE into a thriving locally-owned business serving families in the St. Louis metropolitan area.

St. Louis SCORE assists area entrepreneurs and small business owners with advice on managing their business challenges. SCORE volunteer mentors provide confidential free face-to-face and email mentoring. Last year, St. Louis SCORE provided services to 198 small business owners, for a total of 1037 new jobs created.

Fit Learning St. Louis director Janice Smith worked with SCORE mentor and seasoned business professional Ray Edwards in areas such as strategic planning, administrative operations, marketing, and human resources.
