Jim Lindstrom has been a Greater Phoenix SCORE Mentor since 2010. He has over 50 years of industry and consulting experience defining and completing business and product strategies for Fortune 1000, mid cap and small businesses. Jim is a master in understanding the processes inside an organization and how they align (or not) to impact business goals and bottom line financial results; people, processes, culture, communication, structure, policies, technology and leadership. He co-founded technology companies involved in the design and delivery of automation products for manufacturing shop floor applications and systems security. He also founded a business and technology consulting company that served mid-market and large clients in the supply-chain and service sectors. His firm later merged with another consulting company in order to serve a broader market. Later in his career, he co-founded a retail photography business. As Principle, Practice Leader and Partner at AT Kearney, Inc., TBI, Alliand Group and Coliance Partners, he conducted a wide range of consulting engagements in a variety of management disciplines including manufacturing, product/service development, distribution, oil and gas, professional services, and retail. Jim is an expert in systems and technology planning and implementation, business and IT alignment, supply chain management, and process and technology sourcing. He possesses an impressive professional record as a corporate executive, technology strategist, consultant to corporate management and program manager. He has an extensive background in managing, restructuring and repositioning organizations involved in information technology delivery. Jim's strengths also include revitalizing under performing alliances. He co-developed the Alliance Therapy ™ diagnostic which reveals the root causes of alliance problems and identifies specific corrective actions, roles and responsibilities to rebuild the relationship when divorce is not an option. He also created management performance diagnostics for CIO's to gauge the effectiveness of IT, including, Voice of the Customer; System Lifecycle Effectiveness; Supply Chain Effectiveness and Systems Report Card.
