In April 2011 Larry Krausel and his partner Eddie Villanueva opened Gleam Team Window Cleaning. With over eight years of experience in the cleaning industry, the duo has boosted sales significantly within two short years and has built a quality, customer-oriented business.

My Successes: 

The Gleam Team partners brought in $85,000 in sales during 2011. In 2012, (their first full year in business), Gleam Team Window Cleaning hired their first employee, added a work vehicle, and earned $200,000 in sales. The company now employees 8 people, has recently added a house cleaning service, and currently has three work vehicles. Gleam Team Window Cleaning has set a goal of $500,000 in sales for 2014 which will surpass their 2013 sales of $303,000. Gleam Team Window Cleaning are recipients of the "2014 Success Story Award" for SCORE Chapter 164.

How SCORE Helped: 

SCORE Mentor Halbert Brown helped Larry and Eddie during the planning stages of Gleam Team. He assisted the duo with: writing a business plan, market analysis, accounting, insurance requirements, and tax planning. Larry says what helped the most was creating an operating agreement for their partnership. "Most partnerships fail and I credit SCORE for our strong partnership. Halbert helped us think of potential disagreements and write down what the expectations would be in advance."
