A professional career in corporate leadership roles, with extensive business planning, strategy development, coaching and mentoring and operational responsibilities, primarily in basic industries (pulp and paper) with a focus on new business development - identifying, validating and, as appropriate, launching new business ventures inside the corporate structure. Generally these business launches where in adjacent markets but frequently in markets totally new to the organization. Prior to my role as Director, NBD, I had P& L responsibility for our printing businesses, was a regional sales manager, product manager, marketing manager and had significant hands on experience in the manufacturing of printing and writing papers. Personally, Ive served on not-for-profit boards in leadership roles, and was active in scouting.in leadership roles. Outside of my corporate life I mentor Not-For-Profits, trade associations and small businesses and focused on strategy, business plan development and business launches, and personal / professional career coaching and development. Further, I've been an active SCORE Certified Master Mentor and Score roundtable facilitator, developing and presenting workshops since 2011.
