SCORE mentoring is a free service offered to any citizen or permanent
resident that owns or wants to start a business. Partnering with you one-on-one, SCORE
mentors support your success by providing experienced advice, consulting on best practices,
and educating you on small business topics.
SCORE ensures you are connected with a mentor in a way that works for
you and them. During the mentor match process, you can select areas you need help, your
preferred methods of communication, language and industry. These details make it easy to
find the best mentor for your needs. In some cases, having access to more than one subject

SCORE mentors will not make decisions for you or complete important
ownership tasks on your behalf. They also cannot provide CPA, mediation, or attorney
services. However, SCORE mentors can provide clear guidance on your options so you can
confidently make decisions and take positive action toward your success.
