In her first National Small Business Week address, Administrator Isabella Casillas Guzman celebrates the resilience of our nation’s 32 million small businesses and innovative startups and recognizes their continued contributions to our neighborhoods, our communities and our nation.
She also touches on the important role that entrepreneurship has played in her own life, shares her vision for the SBA in the post-COVID economy, and emphasizes that her top priority as SBA Administrator is to ensure that anyone anywhere can achieve the American dream of business ownership.
The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) provides financial, technical and management assistance to help Americans start, run and grow their businesses. SCORE is a resource partner with the SBA. The SBA administers a Congressional grant which provides SCORE with funding. SCORE volunteers work with the SBA to provide small business mentoring and training to entrepreneurs through SBA offices.
