SBA Administrator Isabella Casillas Guzman convenes the 2022 National Small Business Awards Ceremony, which acknowledges and celebrates small businesses from across the country for their ingenuity, creativity, and resilience.
Notable highlights include a special message from the President of the United States, the announcement of the Small Business Persons of the Year for each US state and territory; specialty awards in the areas of government contracting, lending, entrepreneurial development, and disaster assistance; and culminating with the announcement of SBA’s top honor, the 2022 National Small Business Person of the Year.
The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) provides financial, technical and management assistance to help Americans start, run and grow their businesses. SCORE is a resource partner with the SBA. The SBA administers a Congressional grant which provides SCORE with funding. SCORE volunteers work with the SBA to provide small business mentoring and training to entrepreneurs through SBA offices.
