A franchise is a great way to enter into business ownership. But do you know what things to consider before you make the leap? This workshop is designed to introduce you to the benefits, options and critical variations that face someone exploring franchise ownership.

We’ll cover the necessary financial requirements needed to enter into and run a franchise. In addition, you’ll learn what questions to ask yourself that can help determine if you are a good candidate. You’ll explore what franchise opportunities might be a good fit for your interests and experience:

You will learn and discuss:

  • The pros and cons of a franchise vs an independent business.
  • Why people buy a franchise.
  • Who makes a good franchise owner.
  • Franchise models and investment levels.

We will also leave time for your questions.

About the Presenter


Led by franchise educator and expert Diane Pleuss.

Diane is a subject-matter expert on a wide variety of franchise options. Her years of franchise experience guide budding entrepreneurs, corporate refugees, career gap re-entry workers, veterans, high net-worth individuals and their advisors to make well-informed decisions on franchise investments.

Diane has an MBA and is the past District 57 Director for Toastmasters and oversaw 150 clubs with 2500+ members. In addition, she is Past President of two advertising associations, and is finishing up her first book on franchising.
