TranslatePaul graduated with a BSEE degree from Brighton University Sussex, England. His career was primarily in the communications industry where he managed a broad range of activities including Business Development, Marketing, HR, Finance and Administration, Product Development, Operations and Raising of Venture Capital.
He was a founder and COO of Vocera Communications which is a provider of communication products for the Healthcare industry. Beginning in 2000 he helped raise 39 million in four rounds with Vocera going public in 2012. His career included VP of design services at Celestica a manufacturing services company and COO at IDEO a world leading design and management consulting firm. He spent 10 years building PC and communications technologies for multinational companies, Nortel, GEC and Plessey. Paul is currently the Membership Chair for Score Silicon Valley and a Mentor and Workshop Presenter.
