Mike Sandman counsels clients in SCORE’s Boston office. Previously he had a career in composites manufacturing and then became a consultant in the field of competitive intelligence. During his years in manufacturing he developed materials for composites ranging from Kevlar-reinforced sailcloth and military helmets to fiberglass fishing rods, and ran a startup making closed-loop controls systems for the production of synthetic fiber.
In his 25 years of consulting work, he helped firms understand their competitors in markets that ran the gamut from gamut from software to cheese to blades for jet turbines.
