TranslateMs. O’Gorman is one of the founders of Liberty Tax Service, serving as Vice President of Marketing and Chief Marketing Officer since the company began in 1997. She is responsible for developing brand awareness in every major market in the United States and Canada.
Ms. O’Gorman has created marketing and sales strategies for both franchise development and consumer programs that have led to Liberty’s rapid growth and development. The company currently operates more than 4,300 locations in the United States and Canada and has more than 2,000 franchisees in its system. Ms. O’Gorman is also a Liberty Area Developer and Franchisee in the Fort Myers, Florida region.
Prior to beginning Liberty Tax Service, O’Gorman served as Director of Communications for Jackson Hewitt Tax Service from 1989 to 1996. She has over 30 years of experience in advertising, marketing and public relations, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Communications from Denison University.
