John Miller serves as Deputy Associate Administrator for the Office of Capital Access, and supports William Manger, Associate Administrator, in leading the Office of Capital Access loan program policy, technology, operations and oversight for:
- The Agency’s flagship 7(a) and 504 Loan Programs, Microloan Program, and the Surety Bond Program; and
- SBA's $120 billion portfolio of direct and guaranteed loans.
Previously, Miller served as the SBA’s Director of the Office of Financial Program Operations and was responsible for overseeing SBA's multiple loan operations centers and loan portfolio management. During this time he improved SBA’s operational service delivery through process reengineering and by implementing a quality assurance program.
Miller joined SBA in 1999 in the Seattle District Office. Prior to joining SBA, he served at FDIC for 9 years as a financial analyst.
