Chelsea is a two-time graduate of Florida A&M University having both an undergraduate and a graduate degree in Business Administration. Chelsea is the owner and founder of My Mommy Wisdom, a certified cruelty-free skincare line for melanin women and children.

Additionally, Chelsea wears many hats as her various professional roles are centered around children and families. She volunteers as a Guardian ad Litem, providing normalcy, mentorship, and stability for children in the foster care system. She currently works as an Regional Manager for a nonprofit organization that assists teens with special needs find employment opportunities. Chelsea also became an online professor at her alma mater FAMU, during the COVID-19 shut down to help mentor collegiate students as they transitioned to the new way of learning and adjusting post-COVID. Chelsea and her husband also own a nonprofit organization, offering college scholarships to students attending HBCUs in an effort to shorten the gap in African American students attending college.
