Regional Resources

Small Business Administration  SBA provides a number of financial assistance programs for small businesses that have been specifically designed to meet key financing needs, including debt financing, surety bonds, and equity financing.

Ohio Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Provides free one-on-on advising and no or low cost business training for all industries.

Economic & Community Development Institute (ECDI) As the third largest US SBA intermediary micro-lender and a U.S. Treasury designated Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI), ECDI's mission is to invest in people to create measurable and enduring social and economic change.

Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (PTAC)  Helps Ohio's businesses seeking to compete for federal, state, and local government contracts.

Ohio's Project CSI Ohio's Common Sense Initiative [CSI] will review Ohio’s regulatory system to eliminate excessive and duplicative rules that stand in the way of job creation and business growth. Gov. John R. Kasich launched CSI Ohio on January 10, 2011, to reform our state’s regulatory policies. We are working each and every day to make Ohio a jobs and business-friendly state because we know that excessive, duplicative and costly business regulations can put Ohioans out of work.
